Nominated MP Oburu Odinga said he has never witnessed such a corrupt regime in his entire political life adding that the country is riddled with corruption scandals.

Oburu said the country is being looted with impunity and the head of state is doing nothing about it.

“The head of state should stop burying his head on sand, let him speak and denounce this vice,” he said.

He said from Euro bond, to the NYS saga and now the Health ministry scandal, the regime has nothing to show Kenyans at all.

Nyando MP Fred Outa on his part said the President should step aside adding that he has shown his failure to deal with graft.

Outa said Kenyans are impatient adding that if nothing is done Kenyans should be ready for a big match to State House to protest the high rate of graft in the country.

“We will match if this runaway corruption is not stopped,” he said.

Kisumu county gubernatorial aspirant Dr Hezron McObewa said the Sh5 billion stolen in the Ministry of Health scandal is enough to pay for the delivery of 625,000 pregnant women in the country.

Makobewa said CORD leader Raila Odinga has been in the forefront keeping in check the Jubilee government adding that all Kenyans must rally behind him.

However, Head of Protocol in the Kisumu county Government Erick Oricho who represented Governor Jack Ranguma caused a stir when he declared that he will vie for the Kisumu County Women Rep position in 2022.

The leaders spoke at the Lutheran Church in Kisumu during a thanksgiving service.
