[Photo|citizentvkenya]An online war between Jubilee Party's Garissa Township MP and NASA's Nairobi Woman Representative Esther Passaris, has been the talk on social media platforms.The two lawmakers exchanged harsh words on Twitter, with the fight starting after Duale attacked Opposition leader Raila Odinga, who is also Passari's ODM party leader.The war which started Monday, saw Duale who was quoted by Standard Digital, dare Raila to call for an overhaul of the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) if he was a 'total man'.This is after Nasa called for removal of some IEBC officials, ahead of the fresh presidential poll.“Raila kama wewe ni mwanaume kuja utoe IEBC (Raila, if you are a man, come and remove IEBC from office),” Duale said, a statement that angered Passari's.She took on Twitter, and said: “Can someone please tell me how old is this man Duale)? What is his level of education? What is his upbringing? What does he consume? I don’t get him."She added: “The disrespect of Raila Odinga aka statesman, father figure, gentleman by an ‘infant’ in politics will not be tolerated.”Upon seeing Passaris' tweet, Duale, replied saying: “I am 50-years-old, with decent humble Islamic upbringing, went to national schools and known universities, married to a decent wife with five sons. That’s Aden Duale. I am sorry I have no space.”He continued: “You (Passaris) are a Nairobi Woman Representative with powers to legislate, represent and oversight, Aden Duale is none of this? After you undergo the 12th Parliament orientation next week, we can then have a parliamentary leaders discourse; not ready for anything else.”In some platforms, social media users reacted differently.
