Governor William Kabogo fired the warning after reports emerged alleging that most of them are engaging in politics. This is after an area MCA raised concerns about the same.

Kabogo said that he chose credible officials and he will not relent in discharging his mandate to the people because of few unworthy officials who are being misled by the area leaders to go against the wish of the county government so as to cause conflicts between the government and the public.

The administrators, who have just finished their week-long training in Ruiru Resort club, have been cautioned against engaging in wrangles with the MCAs as their mandates are far different from each other as the administrators are not politicians.

Kabogo praised Ruiru Sub County administrator Abdi Mohammed whom he said was leading in good performance.

“These are the kind of leaders we want in our county. People who can be held accountable. He has proved he is capable and others should follow that route to end the conflicts with the MCAs,” Kabogo said.

The governor was speaking in Ruiru when he met the administrators from respective sub counties and wards on Saturday.
