Speaking to journalists on Sunday at his home, Mogaka said it's shameful for the MPs not pass the gender rule, saying it might throw the country into a constitution limbo.

"It's shameful for national assembly to throw away the gender bill rule which is fundamental and is constitutional to have 2/3 of gender in the house," said Mogaka.

"The MPs are so greedy, that's why they didn't want to pass the Duale bill because women can't hide if their male counterpart steal from the society," he said.

Mogaka has also urged the women to not sit back after that defeat, and push on for their right.

The national assembly members rejected the 2/3 bill that was tabled by Aden Duale to see gender balance in the society.
