A bus ferrying AFC Leopards fans has overturned near Mtito Andei.
The fans were enroute to Mombasa to cheer the team as it locks horns with Mombasa's Bandari FC in a league match.
Through their official facebook page, the club has confirmed the accident and said that no fatalities were hovever recorded.
"Update #Voiaccident: No fatality reported. The injured are currently undergoing treatment at a hospital in Voi. Updates will be communicated as they are received. Quick recovery #INGWE," the club posted.
The fans however decried delayed medical attention due to the on-going go-slow in the public health sector.
"The doctors strike made things more harder. All in all the injured are receiving treatment at ST. JOSEPH SHELTER of HOPE MISSION HOSPITAL," said Ken Osinde, a fan.
"My prayers are with the injured fans & to the entire Afc Amani Woodley Branchfam. Get well soon mates," said Mathias Ndeta, another fan.
The bus was hired by members of the Leopards Amani Woodley Branch in Nairobi.
