AFC Leopards has announced the signing of Eugene Mukangula from Thika United. The midfielder has signed a three-year contract at the den.
Mukangula has been one of the key players at Thika United, and he joins Saad Musa who crossed over from the Thika club.
“We are pleased to announce the signing of winger Eugene Mukangula. Let's welcome him to the Den,” Leopards said in a statement.
Mukangula, known for his darting runs and skillful dribbles, has been lured to AFC Leopards before but turned down advances.
With Thika United facing cash strains in the last months, a move away from the club was imminent. He now joins Saad Musa and Ugandan Ugandan striker Abraham Ndugwa.
AFC Leopards is currently fourth on the KPL log and looking to bolster their squad.The five are former Gor Mahia midfielder Collins Okoth, Ghanaian striker Erick Bekoe, and Nigerian midfielder, Henry Uche. Completing the list is rookie striker Alfred 'Kemboi' Wekesa.
