Kenya Premier Legaue (KPL) side AFC Leopards continued their signing spree snapping Kakamega High School teen sensation Yusuf Nasir Mainge for a three-year deal.Nasir was a constant face during the 2017 Airtel Rising Star tournament and was also instrumental for the Green Commandoes where he helped them to earn promotion to the National Super League.Speaking to a local sports website shortly after putting pen to paper on Tuesday ,Mainge expressed his joy over the move saying it will present him with the best opportunity to gain more experience"I want to thank my school Kakamega for the foundation they laid for me because I couldn't have made it here.I'm joining the best team in the country and the urge to of playing continental football was too good to turn down.Im here to learn from the best and I can't wait to get started ", he told Soka.The pacy winger also revealed that other clubs had approached him but he had his sights firmly at Ingwe.
"There were a few teams that wanted me to join them but I had my goals set and Ingwe was the place for me.This is the right decision and I know it is the step I needed in my football career", he added.
