After a 3 week break to allow for the 2019 AFCON Qualifiers to take place, the Sportpesa Premier League resumes this weekend; with a total of nine matches on card.

Fresh from a 3-0 loss to arch rivals Gor Mahia in the Sportpesa Super Cup final in Tanzania on Sunday, Ingwe will be aiming to bounce back when they take on Mathare United on Saturday.

After a tough start to the 2017 season, AFC Leopards, on position 12 on the log after 13 matches, will leave nothing to chance when they come against bottom placed Mathare United.

In other matches, defending champions Tusker FC will be hoping to top the log when they take on  Kariobangi Sharks while Nzoia Sugar and Chemilil Sugar will try to get the better of each other as they are tied on 17 points, at position ten and eleven respectively.

The late kick off match will see Thika United host 4th placed Posta Rangers. On Sunday, Western Stima will travel to Mombasa City to take on Bandari, while Ulinzi Stars, fresh off securing a sponsorship deal with EliteBet Kenya, will clash against Sony Sugar.

Sofapaka FC will play host to Gor Mahia,  Kakamega Homeboyz will square it off with Zoo Kericho while debutants Nakumatt will have a date with  Muhoroni Youth FC.
