Hardly a day after being declared the winner of the ODM nominations for the Malindi parliamentary seat after beating her fiercest rivalWilly Mtengo, Kilifi Women Representative Aisha Jumwa has declared a new political war against Governor Amason Kingi.Jumwa who humbled Mtengo in a hotly-contested nominations by a respectable margin of over 4,000 votes, is now demanding for an apology from Kingi who she accuses of supporting her rival.Addressing her supporters on Monday, Jumwa claimed that the Governor frustrated her bid for the precious ODM ticket, and asked him to publicly apologize to the residents of Malindi.While warning of dire consequences should Kingi fail to apologize, Jumwa said she will mobilize her supporters to reject Kingi's re-election bid in the August polls.However, Kingi has distanced himself from allegations that he was supporting Mtengo.The county boss insisted that he never took sides, adding that he was ready to work with whoever bags the ODM ticket.Already, Mtengo has declared a political war against Jumwa amid claims that the nomination exercise was marred with irregularities.Mtengo has threatened to support Jubilee's Philip Charo to ensure Jumwa does not clinch the seat.
