President Uhuru Kenyatta has postponed his intended trip to Western Kenya region.  He had earlier on, postponed another trip to Meru and Tharaka Nithi Counties in Mount Kenya region, that he was to use, to popularise his Jubilee party.  According to Jubilee party secretary general Raphael Tuju, Uhuru postponed touring Kakamega, Busia, Bungoma and Trans Nzoia Counties starting tomorrow, so as to attend to crucial matters within his party.   Tuju said the party leadership pleaded with him to reschedule his trip given that many Jubilee party aspirants who are from the region had raised concerns that should be handled before nominations kick off.   Reports also indicate a key issue raised is the rivalry between Nairobi County gubernatorial aspirants senator Mike Sonko and former Gatanga MP Peter Kenneth.  The two who are considered assets to the party, are seeking the Jubilee ticket to unseat incumbent Dr Evans Kidero.
