In a statement, Musalia accused the diplomats of overstepping their mandate after the contested presidential elections in 2017.

"In the run up to the two presidential elections last year, the diplomats pursued a partisan role in favour of Jubilee. Since then, the situation seems to have deteriorated, beginning with the western diplomatic community hurriedly endorsing the results of August 8, 2017 elections, which the Supreme Court later nullified," Mudavadi said.

He further faulted the envoys for endorsing the October 26 repeat election results despite the anomalies raised.

"This undeserved support for a flawed process was underpinned by and protective of heavy financial investment in the electoral process by the missions through their donor agencies," Mudavadi said.

This is after 11 envoys to Kenya urged NASA leader Raila Odinga to recognize President Uhuru Kenyatta as the legitimate Head of State.
