NASA presidential candidate Raila Odinga has pulled out of  Monday's televised presidential debate a few hours after President Uhuru Kenyatta announced he will not be in attendance.

The official statement was made by NASA publicist Salim Lone, he said Odinga will not be presentdue to the current proposed format and stipulation.

Uhuru had earlier spoken of pulling out through Jubilee Party Secretary General Raphael Tuju, who said the Head of State will not be participating due to lack of communication between the event organisers and the State House.
