The Aga Khan Foundation in partnership with European Union has donated Sh3 million equipment and educational materials to Lamu vocational training centre.
The computers, furniture and games kits among others are aimed at enhancing better quality of training and revitalizing the centre.
Aga Khan foundation Kenya coast and North Eastern regions manager Atrash Ali said the move is to empower youths enhance quality of training at the centre.
"The donation of equipment will enable the institution offer quality training skills to learners towards the development of the county and the country at large", said Ali.
Ali urged learners at the centre to make use of the equipment to boost their skills for better lives in the future.
"We hope the equipment will be utilized by learners to get required skills to offer better service delivery once they finish their respective training", said Ali.
