Preparations are in top notch as Nairobi is set to host Agriculture and food summit next month from 5-9 September which will be the largest agricultural conference ever in Africa.

The African Green Revolution Forum (AGRF) will bring together stakeholders in African agriculture to share the expertise and experience that will move African agriculture forward and also improve food security. 

In addition the forum will be hosted by Alliance for a Green Revolution in Africa (AGRA) which seeks to expose farmers to the growing Africa economy. 

The summit will attract a number of high profile leaders including several heads of state, business leaders, development partners, Farmers Organization, among others. 

Invited speakers include: H.E. Uhuru Kenyatta President of the Republic of Kenya; Dr. Akinwumi Adesina-African Development Bank; Dr. Rob Smith-Vice President, AGCO; Svein Tore Holsether- YARA President and CEO; Mr. Strive Masiyiwa-AGRA Board Chair, and Dr Agnes Kalibata-AGRA President. 

The founder of Microsoft Bill Gates has also been invited to the forum.
