In a Twitter post on Tuesday, Ahmednasir mocked Miguna, terming him a coward.

The vocal lawyer criticised Miguna over his move to go to court seeking to have his citizenship reinstated.

“Very surprised that Miguna Miguna has gone to court to be allowed to come back to his country of birth...what a cowardly act. I thought he said he was an NRA GENERAL. Why doesn't he storm Kenya from Kisumu and go straight to his house at Runda... coward General Miguna!!!” read Ahmednasir's tweet.

This comes after the NASA politician through his lawyer John Khaminwa filed a case at the Nairobi High Court challenging the revocation of his citizenship and his deportation to Canada.

Miguna was deported to Canada on Tuesday last week aboard a KLM flight.

Through Interior spokesman Mwenda Njoka, the government defended the move to deport Miguna, arguing that his Kenyan passport was illegally issued in 2009 by then Immigration Minister, the late Otieno Kajwang’.

Prior to his deportation, Miguna was detained for five days over his role in the swearing-in of NASA leader Raila Odinga as the people’s president.
