Lawyer Ahmednasir Abdullahi on Wednesday endorsed Kaplan and Stratton advocate, Ahmed Yasin for Nairobi Council Member of Law Society of Kenya (LSK).
Lawyer Yasin had declared his candidature for the position of LSK Council Membership for Nairobi earlier on Wednesday.
On his declaration, Yasin said it was time to bring change to the society, depoliticize the council, ensure the provision of legal services to those who needed it most and represent the plight of young lawyers in the country.
“I hereby declare my candidature for the position of LSK Council Member for Nairobi. Time to bring change to the society, depoliticize the council, ensure the provision of legal services to those that need it most and represent the plight of young lawyers in the country,” Yasin tweeted.
Ahmednasir further backed the young lawyer he had known all along saying he strongly endorsed him for the LSK job.
“I know this young advocate of Kaplan & Stratton Advocates and did matter on opposite sides. I strongly endorse him for Council Member of LSK,” read Ahmednasir tweet.
Ahmed Yasin joined Kaplan & Stratton in January 2014 and is currently an associate in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Department.
His main area of practice is civil and commercial litigation involving complex commercial disputes.
