He urged the public to work with Red Cross in breaking the cycles of catastrophe when it strikes.
Ligana further urged the county government of Nakuru to have enough fire-fighting equipment to deal with the ever increasing cases of fire in the area.
“The county should have enough capacity to deal with cases of fire out-breaks what we have is insufficient and more needs to be done,” added Ligana.
The 16 families who benefited with the donations thanked the agency and urged the county government to extend its share of help.
The families fell victims after a fire razed down their houses in Kasarani estate in Elburgon Town over the weekend reducing them to ashes and rendering them homeless.
