Moments after declaring interest in Kibra constituency seat, Rosemany would suffer from a non carcinogenic tumour leading to her treatment in a South African hospital.

Since her return from South Africa in July, Ms. Odinga has been living a quiet life and has hardly commented in any social media platform, contrary to her old habit.

In a pictured originating from Dennis Onyango, Raila's spokesperson, one of its kind in as many months, Rosemany was seen pausing for a photo with her father and two other people.

Although she was declared stable, she looked feeble and worn out, a description of slow but progressive improvement.

Throughout Raila's public life since Rosemary's ill-health, the veteran leader has been making appearances with his younger daughter Winnie Odinga.

On Monday, Raila was pictured with Winnie, leaving for Zimbabwe for the burial of Morgan Tsvangirai.

A statement sent moments after her treatment in South Africa, indicated that Ms. Odinga had quit active engagements in politics.
