Flights in and out of Wilson Airport have been halted after a plane crashed on Saturday.A small plane crashed on Saturday at the airport but no casualties were reported. A rescue team arrived at the scene on time and the runway was cleared immediately.Reports, however, indicated that the pilot sustained minor injuries.Earlier, a Turkish Airlines plane from JKIA was forced to have an emergency landing in Khartoum, Sudan after a passenger reported that there was a bomb planted on the plane.Reports indicated that the plane was searched and no explosives were found on the plane.
The passenger was held in for interrogations after the search by detectives.
