However, they seem to have lost trust among NASA supporters who were urged not to use their products.
Airtel has been opportunistic after NASA supporters were ordered to ditch their Safaricom sim cards.

This comes after scores of Raila fanatics thronged Airtel shops to buy new phone lines after their leaders directed them to cut ties with all Safaricom products.
Opposition leaders called upon their followers to cease using products manufactured or produced by Safaricom, Brookside dairies, and Bidco Oil Refineries.
“These companies provide goods and services which are used to support people who have the blood of Kenyans on their hands,” said the MPs during a press briefing on Friday, November 3.
Also, NASA CEO Norman Magaya announced that all Raila supporters were required to boycott businesses that had Kenyatta's portrait.
