In efforts to gain more subscribers in Kisii county Airtel Kenya has now pitched tents across Kisii town and it's outskirts as a number of NASA supporters ditch Safaricom.
According to Kisii region Airtel marketing manager Samuel Obai, the telecommunications company has for the last one week been able to record a good number of subscribers and they expect the number to double in the next one week.
"We're happy to gain more subscribers and we are now looking forward to upgrading our network in the area due to a large number of subscribers," said Obai.
On Monday a good number of NASA supporters also lobbied their supporters in the region to ditch Safaricom and join Airtel.
This comes at a time NASA leaders keep on pushing for products and service boycott from some of the companies they termed as enemies of NASA and who helped jubilee to bungle the October presidential elections.
