The Kilifi County Women Representative and Member of the Orange Democratic Movement has come out to endorse Deputy President William Ruto for the 2022 presidential race.
Speaking during a church service on Sunday 18th March 2018 at the St. Barnabas Anglican Church of Kenya (ACK), Voi, Taita Taveta County, the vocal coastal region legislator said, "We cannot stop an idea whose time has come,2022 God-willing is William Samoei Ruto. We will help you to ensure that the big four agendas of Jubilee are realized. Maybe some of us have been the hinderances but now the doors are are open, we want development in the fastest way possible."
While speaking at the service, the Deputy President stated, "The unity of leaders from the President and Raila to us all is not for the benefit of we politicians. It is not for personal gains. It is for the unity of Kenyans and realization that their is no benefit in the divisive politics."
Gatundu South Member of Parliament Moses Kuria and other leaders across the political divide were in attendance of the church service.
DP Ruto for the past few days has been in the coastal counties of Mombasa and Kwale to launch development projects.
