Malindi MP Aisha Jumwa has yet again hit back at his party leader Raila Odinga following ODM's decision to de-whip her from PSC.

Minority Whip Junet Mohammed has already written to the speaker seeking procedure of de-whiping the vocal MP over links with DP William Ruto.

But on Thursday, a rather angry Jumwa hit back at the party, maintaining that she earned the position following the party's performance at the Coast.

"ODM should stop threatening me. I do not need them. Odinga used me to get coastal votes. I can survive without him.

"In fact, he can't survive without me. Baba needs my support and contribution. He however remains my friend," she said.

Jumwa is among a section of coastal ODM MPs who have publicly supported Ruto despite the warning by the party.

Already, Secretary General Edwin Sifuna has warned consequences should the MPs fail to justify their move.
