Former IEBC commissioner Roselyn Akombe has been ordered to refund taxpayers money.

According to Isiolo county senator Fatuma Dullo, Akombe used public funds to flee the country to the US.

According to Dullo, Akombe was  National Super Alliance mole at IEBC.

This after Akombe fled the country to New York where she tendered in her resignation letter.

Akombe was supposed to be in Dubai to supervise the printing of ballot papers but later diverted to New York.

She stated that due to security concerns, she could not return in the country and resign.

Akombe revealed that she had received deaths over her stand at IEBC.

She cited partisan stands with IEBC as the main reason behind her resignation.

She said the current constitution of IEBC cannot guarantee a free and fair election as required by the law.
