Former IEBC commissioner Roselyn Akombe has announced that she has resumed her job posting at the United Nations headquarters in New York.

Akombe has further disclosed that her employer warned her of conducting any interviews with the media concerning the Kenyan elections.

"Yes, I am back at my job but I am prohibited from talking to the press. This was contained in the new contract I signed recently," Akombe told Daily Nation.

This new revelation come in two weeks after Akombe unceremoniously quit her job at the IEBC after taking a sabbatical leave from UN and a 70 percent pay cut to oversee Kenyans elections.
