The current love triangle involving Tanzanian music artist Diamond Platnumz, his wife Zari Hassan and model Hamissa Mobetto has left social media ablaze.
This follows revelation by Diamond that he had indeed cheated on Zari with Hamisa and that the two were expecting a child.
The affair received different responses on social media , including a response from Kenyan singer Akothee who took to Instagram to express herself.
"It's sad how women celebrate another woman's challenges, eeee am saaad yawa am saaad. I didnt eat the whole of yesterday as if its my own personal issue.It reminded me of some sh*t I had contact with who stole my expensive gold chains sold some and took some to his side chick. He always denied not having an affair. So one day they took a photo and forgot to take out the chain, sema aibu, every time I came home with my wallet money was missing, yet we were just the two of us. He would start fights from nowhere just to get to run away and come back when his well was dry," she said as quoted by The Star.
According to her posts its fair to say Akothee is "Team Zari".
"I was so worn out, I was very tired and unhappy, every time I thought of dumping him, I felt so empty. I was weak to let go. Papa Ojwang wanted to beat him up, he could not stand seeing his baby mama sad. I had all the money in the world but was always feeling empty. I woke up one day and said enough is enough.
