Give it to me hit maker Akothee almost exchanged blows with Benga artiste Princess Julie during a visit at Akothee's Mombasa home.
Akothee was forced to throw Julie out of her home, after she allegedly disrespected her.
According to Akothee, the Dunia Mbaya singer became rude after she invited her to her home for a week, to discuss how they could revive her music career.
According to Ghafla, Julie had earlier demanded that Akothee clears her rent arrears as well as pay her fare.
The drama started when Julie arrived at Akothee’s Mombasa home and demanded that no one takes photos of her, which Akothee agreed to.
The war of words broke out when Princess Julie’s son uploaded her photo alongside Akothee on Facebook.
Akothee said the Benga artiste then uttered words that broke her heart.
“Stop posting my photos with Akothee on Facebook, people will see her with me and think she has given me millions and there is nothing she has helped me with,” said Julie in Dholuo.
The situation worsened when Akothee said she would monitor how Julie makes money with the sound system she would give her, until she becomes stable.
The statement angered Julie who rebuked Akothee, and since she (Akothee) could no longer tolerate her ungratefulness, she kicked her out of her house the following morning.
