George Aladwa is the MP elect for Makadara Constituency in Nairobi County.

The former Nairobi Mayor garnered 41,874 votes while incumbent Benson Mutura managed 39,731 votes.

Aladwa was Orange Democratic Movement candidate while Mutura was a Jubilee Party candidate.

The results, however, do not include those of Baraka Primary School polling station, whose declaration form went missing.

Constituency Returning Officer Moses Simiyu said the form had been misplaced.

He announced the results after consulting with agents and top Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) officials.
