NASA leader Raila Odinga could be behind Miguna Miguna's deportation, new reports suggest.
Popular blogger Robert Alai claimed on Monday that the Opposition leader's quick rejoinder to Miguna Miguna's Sunday claims that top NASA leaders were complacent with Jubilee is not a thing to be ignored.
"Raila who rarely comments on the infighting in NASA or ODM has come out and told you 'Ignore Miguna because I trust Ndii and Magaya'. I told you that Raila had a hand in Miguna's deportation and you said I was lying. You need to understand Kenya's politics," Alai wrote on his Twitter page.
In a public statement on Monday, Raila Odinga stated: "My attention has been drawn to reports in sections of the media, attributed to Miguna Miguna, claiming that two of Nasa Secretariat staff are working for Jubilee Party. We wish to make it clear that as a coalition, we have full confidence in Ndii and Magaya, who have dedicated time and resources working for Nasa’s course."
Miguna had poked holes into Dr Ndii's and Mr Magaya's loyalty to the Opposition.
He claimed that Dr Ndii, a NASA strategist was opposed to the January 30 swearing-in ceremony that installed Raila as the People's President.
In a lengthy Facebook post, Miguna divulged that NASA CEO Norman Magaya was frustrating the Opposition's activities.
“Norman Magaya is actively working for Jubilee. He took Kshs. 30m to withdraw the petition against Sonko in retaliation for his failed nomination to EALA. He had vowed to “revenge against Raila” after that. H.E. Raila Odinga himself told me about it.”
“Ndii opposed the swearing in and threatened to lead a walkout from NASA of Kalonzo et al. Ndii shouted at me and made the threatens in person in my house. Now that their schemes have flopped, they have conspired to sabotage the NRMKe," Miguna exposed.
