Controversial blogger Robert Alai now claims there are drug barons in the ruling coalition as well as the opposition.
Alai took to twitter on Wednesday to criticize the lack of goodwill to deal with those dealing in drugs.
"There are drug barons in Jubilee and Cord (NASA). Both sides must make it easy for security agencies to arrest these individuals without any politicking," he wrote.
"There is no use using the drug accusations to destroy the reputation of others without evidence," he added.
He also defended Mombasa governor Hassan Joho on drug accusations saying that anybody with evidence linking the governor to drug trafficking should present the evidence to relevant authorities.
"If Joho is a drug dealer, give police evidence and arrest him immediately," he wrote.
"The arrest shouldn't be done while drug dealers supporting the ruling party are left to go free," he added.
