Outspoken activist and political blogger Robert Alai has cautioned politicians about drinking late night during this election year.
Alai through his official Facebook page says drinking late night makes politicians a soft target for their competitors who may have ill-intentions.
“Politicians spending all their weekend nights drinking and partying in night club are just playing with their lives. No matter how armed you are, you are less safe at night. Muchai was killed while surrounded by many guns.” Warns Alai.
He further warned that political killings will be more this year.
“Stay safe and avoid being careless for political rivals may seize this opportunity," he added.
Alai's comments come at a time when political seat aspirants were killed in Baringo after drinking late into the night.
