Controversial blogger Robert Alai on Thursday took Tweeter to defend DP William Ruto over child neglect claims saying he was a responsible man and that his accuser, Prisca Chemutai Bett was an attention seeker.
"The DP is being a man and taking responsibility. Some women are just attention seeking. Nothing in the petition...," he wrote on tweeter.
"So DP Ruto had a baby with Prisca Chemutai Bett. The same Prisca Bett later had 3 other babies with different men. Ruto later helped her find a job where she is being paid Ksh 180,000 and the DP is paying for the child Ksh 200,000 per semester in a private school.Ladies, please get serious. Some of these things can be avoided," he added.
On Thursday Ruto admitted to siring the child and insisted that the 11-year-old girl by the name Abby, was well taken care of saying it was politicians peddling lies to taint his name.
"My 11-year-old child Abby is well catered for including her education in private boarding school. Politicians& Busybodies should keep off," Ruto tweeted in response to Prisca's accusations.
Ruto said the lady was just trying to blackmail her so he could take care of her other three children she got from other men saying, that men should be responsible for their kids.
"The other father/s should be men enough and look after their kids. Trying blackmail for me to cater for other men's children won't work," he wrote.
