As the battle for the Nairobi Governor seat gains momentum, controversial blogger Robert Alai claims that Nairobi Governor Evans Kidero is the man behind the demand by Kalonzo Musyoka and Moses Wetangula to be declared "tosha" by Raila.
According to Alai, Kidero is sponsoring the duo for the Cord nomination knowing very well that none of them has the spirit to mount a strong presidential contest.
He said that Kidero's plan was to have the duo fail so that he could then have an easy time in 2022.
"But Kidero's maths are whack. He doesn't think things through. Just like he did with Kalausi, Kidero plans to contest in 2022 while he is still enjoined with Ruto at his umbilical chord," added Alai.
Alai says that former VP's focus was on his family since his wife wife has been wheelchair-bound since 2013 hence he was not in a serious political mood now.
"Furthermore, he lost a helicopter he bought through a KCB loan in TZ. There are strong indications that the chopper was not insured at the time of the crash," Alai revealed.
He concluded by adding that Wetangula was a 'lazy layabout' who will never offer any strong political challenge to anyone.
