Speaking on AM-Live on Tuesday, the embattled lawmaker lauded  President Uhuru Kenyatta-led administration, noting that it is on the path to victory against the menace.

This, however, follows his recent wrangles with the government, specifically Deputy President William Ruto’s quarters, which he accused of influencing his political woes.

The embattled parliamentarian who accused Ruto of influencing his August 8 re-election nullification in March, and who has been at loggerheads with the leader, said that the nation could soon manage to cure the long-time graft ailment.

‘’Based on the government’s latest measures, we are winning the fight against corruption. I have seen a number of government officials panicking since the President made the declaration and I think we will win if we maintain the spirit,’’ he said.

Keter blamed majority of the big scandals within the government on poor coordination among ministerial heads, citing the ongoing poisonous sugar probe pitting the National Treasury, Interior, Agriculture and Industrialization ministries.

He termed this as the reason for the ongoing blame game between the relevant Cabinet Secretaries as they try to cleanse themselves and their offices.

‘’There is lack of coordination among our ministries and their leaders hence the ability of corrupt individuals to penetrate. Our CS’s are not cooperating well and have been caught off-guard hence the ongoing blame game,’’ he added.
