Speaking during a live interview at NTV on Thursday, the vocal Jubilee legislator who was once branded a rebel asked the DP to stop panicking if indeed he had not looted anything.

"The direction they want to force about corruption is that some few individuals are being targeted. Who is targeting you? It is yourself who is panicking that you are being targeted," he said in what political analysts say was targeted at DP Ruto.

Keter further questioned the Deputy President on why he took more time to accept the lifestyle audit and yet he could have accepted immediately while with the president.

"He is open to audit, but he has taken too much time. He was there with the president, he should have said it immediately," added the two time MP.

Speaking during the official opening of the 43rd Annual National Conference of Principals in Mombasa County DP Ruto said he would be the first one to submit himself to lifestyle audit when the exercise begins.

He also questioned why he was majorly being targeted yet the exercise, according to the directive by the President, was meant for all public servants.

"The other day I saw the media trying to write something on what I own. Well...I thought they would continue the following day with another leader but I saw nothing...it seemed the agenda was me because it started and ended on me. I thought this lifestyle audit was meant for all public servants?" he posed.
