Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho, on Monday, February 26 celebrated his birthday, marking another year in life.

The celebrations saw various leaders led by his Deputy Dr William Kingi and entertainment artists such as Ali Kiba and Churchill in attendance.

Joho expressed his overwhelming messages of goodwill and generous prayers he received during his birthday. 

"My heartfelt gratitude goes to the revered residents of County 001, Daniel "Churchill" Ndambuki aka Mwalimu King'ang'i and the entire Laugh Industry, my friend Alikiba and everyone around the world for making this day very special flooded with your warm wishes. May the Almighty bless you all abundantly," he said.

Born in 1974, the second term governor turned 42.
