New details have emerged indicating that Chris Brown's first coastal tour was almost ruined after Nigerian artiste Wizkid and his Tanzania counterpart Ali Kiba engaged in a war of words over who should perform first.
Ali Kiba is reported to have said he would not perform before Wizkid, arguing that he has a bigger fan base in Kenya.
The talented singer is said to have insisted he was not going to step on the stage until WizKid performs.
The disagreement between the two delayed Chris Brown's performance, as the organizers sought to settle the matter.
“Kiba felt he is bigger in Kenya than Wizkid hence he could not understand why he was scheduled to perform before,” said a source quoted by NairobiNews.
Ali Kiba managed to win the heated argument and performed just before Chris Brown.
Kiba expressed his dissatisfaction with the manner in which the show was organised, especially after his mic failed a few minutes into his performance.
"I was surprised. I don't know whether the microphone was disconnected for Chris Brown to be ushered in. I hope my fans understood that it was not my fault," said Ali Kiba.
