Singer Ali Kiba has left a message to all the participants who attended his Mombasa wedding on Thursday.
Kiba married Amina Khalef, a girl from Kongowea, Mombasa, at the Masjid Ummul Kulthum mosque at 7:30am in a ceremony that was attended by close family members and friends.
His close friend, Governor Hassan Joho was among the participants.
Dressed in a black gown, a turban and a dagger to show the custom for Swahili weddings, Kiba was accompanied by his younger brother Abdu Kiba, as his best man.
“I Ali Saleh do accept to take Amina Khalef as my lawfully wedded wife,” he said as directed by the Sheikh Mohammed Karega who conducted the ceremony.
In response, Kiba took to his Twitter account and thanked all those who participated in his "important day".
He also thanked those who congratulated him, and wished them God's blessings.
"Shukran Kwa Wote Walioshiriki Katika Siku Yangu Muhimu Na walionipongeza Mwenyezi MUNGU awajaalie Katika Kila Mnalotaka Amin ❤️ FAMILY #KingKiba," wrote the Cinderella hitmaker.
