Garissa County Senator Yussuf Haji has drummed up support for Jubilee governor aspirant Ali Korane, citing that he is the best suited for the governor post.
According to Haji, Korane is an entrusted leader to run the county unlike the incumbent Nathif Jama.
“I have closely worked with Korane for many years and I can say without any fear of contradiction that he is a person who can be entrusted with our resources and do a far much better job,” Haji said.
Senator Haji argued that Garissa County electorates should vote for Ali Korane for governor due to the agreement which brings together the Abduwak and the Samawadhal clans, dubbed the 'Telamuge Alliance'.The senator at the same time has dismissed claims that he is too old to defend his senate seat.
He said he has done his oversight role as the county senator and therefore, he is best to seek a second term in office.
