Garissa Gubernatorial hopeful Ali Bunow Korane has predicted a landslide win for President Uhuru Kenyatta in the August 8 polls.

According to Korane, Uhuru will trounce NASA’s Raila Odinga with over 70 per cent of votes in the August general election.

In an interview with the Standard on Tuesday , the Jubilee gubernatorial aspirant said that Kenyans have confidence in Jubilee’s administration.

He laughed off and criticized NASA’s presidential line up saying it is not a threat to Jubilee’s re-election. “Jubilee’s re-election in August has been sealed and NASA should prepare to be in opposition come August 8,” he said as quoted by the Standard.

Korane assured Jubilee Party of Somali votes in the coming election. He said that Somali community has benefited from Uhuru’s administration and will be endorsing his re-election.

“As Somali community in North Eastern, our votes are with UhuRuto,” he said. Korane who is seeking to unseat Garissa governor Nathif Jama said that NASA has no space in the region.

The Jubilee governor hopeful urged North Eastern locals to unite and support leaders who have their interests at heart.

Korane exuded confidence of trouncing Jama in the August 8 polls. Jama is seeking reelection on Wiper ticket and says that his development track record will see him re-elected in August.
