Garissa County Gubernatorial aspirant Ali Bunow Korane has urged Garissa residents to register as voters in the ongoing voter registration exercise in order to be decision makers and not spectators.

“My dear people, brothers and sisters of my great county, the journey for better Garissa starts here, let's take an hour of our precious time and register as voters,” he said.

“Choose to be decision makers and stakeholders of the August 8, not a spectator,” read a post on Korane's Facebook account.

Korane further stated the benefits of registering as voters for the residents from health services, farm production and job opportunities.

“Your single vote will guarantee flowing taps at our homes, improve health services at the furthest ends Madogashe, Yumbis, Bothaay, Bananey and Danyere,” he added.

“Register today and choose a fully devolved services to sub-counties and wards, flourishing farms and increased farm productivity, jobs for youths, gender respect and empowerment and immediate payment for services offered,” said the Wiper Party allied governor.
