The low enrolment in secondary schools in the coastal region has been triggered by delays in disbursement of CDF funds, Kisauni MP Ali Mbogo says.Acting Education Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang'i revealed last week that the enrolment rate at the coast was shockingly low and called for authorities to swing into action.''Parents from this region rely on bursaries to pay fees for their children. The delay in the release of the CDF funds is making it difficult for them to join form one,'' MP Mbogo said.The MP called for the release of the crucial funds so that the students can join form one in their respective schools.
