Nyali parliamentary seat aspiranyt Mohammed Ali has claimed that his opponent Said Abdallah famously known as ‘Saedo’ has been fighting for direct nomination.
Speaking at the Ziwa la ng’ombe primary school grounds in Nyali constituency on Saturday, Ali said that his opponent has been using dirty tricks of disrupting his political rallies in order to taint his image and force the party to give a direct ticket.
“It all came to play during the 26th March Tononoka rally in Mombasa where Saedo supporters booed at me and him Saedo grabbed the microphone from me pushing me backwards, completely disrupting my speech,” said the former Journalist.
Ali said that he has already filed complaints to the ODM disciplinary board against Saedo following the Tononoka incident.
“I filed the complaints on 29th of the same month and am eagerly waiting for response from the board, actions must be taken against Saedo and his supporters” He added.
On his part, Saedo has since rubbished Ali’s claims.
He challenged Ali to go to the ground and drum for his support from locals since he was not known by voters.
“I have worked tirelessly to get support from locals in Nyali constituency, let him do so and stop accusing me of disrupting his political rallies” said the Governor Joho’s first cousin.
