The petition case seeking the nullification of Dr. Alfred Mutua as Machakos County Governor will for the second time be determined on October 4, following the mentioning of the Case by a Machakos County Law court justice.

The case was filled by Wavinya Ndeti who lost for the second time to Dr Alfred Mutua in the Gubernatorial seat and the verdict will be determined after the ruling.

In the petition that was presented by Julius Otieno, an advocate on behalf of lead counsel Otiende Omollo the duo wants the court to nullify Dr Alfred Mutua's win citing irregularities in the process.

The court called upon the IEBC to avail all the involved voting items to the court before the case kicks off the hearing process.

The petition has got the eyes of many residents of Machakos bearing in mind that it is the second time Wavinya Ndeti has filed a petition against Mutua after a similar petition during the 2012 General election.

All eyes will be on Justice Aggrey Muchelule of Machakos High court as he will be making the ruling to determine whether Machakos County residents will go back to the ballot to vote for their Governor.
