Kenya, the home of the renowned athletic champions is set to host the highly anticipated IAAF; World U18 Championships that will be held at the Moi Sports Complex-Kasarani on the 12th to the 16th of July.

With consistent participation in the championships, Kenya has not been very dominant in clinching various honours, however we managed to be the first to top the medal table in the first edition of the IAAF in 1999 that was held in Poland.

The U.S managed to top the table ever since then till the 6th edition that was held in 2009 where Kenya finished first with the top medals.

The squad of 64 athletes set to represent Kenya in this year’s championships is the largest ever chosen.

 Necessary preparations have been underway to make sure that the team is fully equipped and well treated to reclaim the title once again with several medals in all the categories.
