Naivasha constituency electorate have sent home all their elected leaders.
MP John Kihagi and all MCAs in the constituency have been voted out in the Jubilee primaries.
Former Member of Parliament Jane Kihara emerged the winner after garnering 21,111 votes.
She was followed by Ndegwa Nguthiru with 15,312 votes while the incumbent MP got 8,225 votes.
The MP has conceded defeat, saying he would support Kihara in the coming general elections.
He noted that she had the capacity to perform and bring development in the area.
All incumbent MCAs from Naivasha had been sent home in the nominations.
Among those who failed in the nominations were Simon Wanyoike (Lakeview ward), Eunice Mureithi (Viwandani), Jonathan Warothe (Hellsgate), Kariuki Mujing’a (Maella) and Samuel Waithuki (Naivasha East).
