Bomet Governor Isaac Ruto has said every political party is welcome to his county to woo voters.
Speaking on Thursday, the governor further dismissed claims that he was set to join the new opposition outfit dubbed NASA that is set to hold a grand rally in the county on Saturday.
“I have heard some saying I will be joining NASA, but that is totally wrong," he said as quoted by the Star.
“The visitors are welcome and I will be there to receive them because they have given me the notice over the meeting. Let all leaders come here and seek for our votes freely without any undue interference,” he added.
The county boss has in the past led an onslaught against the Jubilee administration, signaling a possibility of joining forces with the Opposition ahead of the August elections.
He has since formed his own political party -Chama Cha Mashinani - ditching the now defunct URP which dissolved to form the Jubilee Party.
