A week after he was announced the National Super Alliance (Nasa) presidential candidate, Raila Odinga's party, is welcoming him, today, Friday.
The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party is endorsing the party leader, formally as its presidential flag bearer.
Participants started streaming at the Kasarani Gymnasium, for the ODM National Delegates’ Convention, as early as 8am.
Delegates from across the 47 counties, ODM governors, senators, MPs, Raila's technocrats and political friends, are expected to attend.
Raila will officially be nominated by the ODM delegates, to carry the party's and Nasa's flag high, as he seeks to battle it out with incumbent president Uhuru Kenyatta, in the race for State House, in the August 8, elections.
