Kiambu governor mr william kabogo has suggested that all county roads should be devolved following the bad state of thika roads.

Speaking to the press from his office in an excvlusive interview, the governor said that he will be holdibng a meeting with the roads authorityies officials later ion the evening to deliberate on the roads in the county.

He said that that its very discouranging when one is travelling in kiambu roads and yet there are those who are entitled to have done the work. He said taht they will propose that all the roads be devolved if the state of the roads will continue to deteroriater

He said that  they are going on with the negotiations with the two authrities to make sure taht the roads are started before the end of this month

He sai dtaht kiambu county is an entreprenurial town and thus need goods and services cin and out of the town whichj hjas been made difficult by the state of roads which is characterised by alot of traffic jam

“We will request the national government to devolve all the roads if this is what we will have in the next  three years , the residents think we are responsible for this roads but we have a very hard time explaining to them about KURA and KERRA. We are going on with the discussion to make sure that the roads are started by the end of this month.”  Kabogo said
