Primary and secondary schools in Bonchari constituency that are yet to get land titledeeds will now be assisted to acquire the vital document.

This is according to the area MP John Oyioka who said that by doing so, it will help stop cartels planning to grab school land.

He also warned that those who have already grabbed public land to return the land or face prosecution.

“In Bonchari we have land cartels who have been grabbing public land. In my tenure, I will ensure all schools get tittle deeds for their land to prevent land grabbers from going on with their activities here,” he said.

He assured that the same will also apply in all the public lands because some scrupulous traders had also grabbed market land.

“Grabbing of land will become an issue of the past in the constituency, we need to do things the right way," he said.
